Hostess/Flight Steward
The airhostess and /or flight steward which is also known as Cabin Crew are
the first people to welcome passengers in an aircraft. Before the arrival,
they have to make necessary arrangements for comfort of the passengers by
checking that everything is at their proper place.
Courses/Training
Airlines recruit cabin crew on the basis of certain eligibility criteria :
Age should be below 25yrs
Height to be minimum 154.5 – 157.5 cm bare feet) for air hostess and
170 – 180 cms for flight steward
Educational : Graduate degree from a recognized university, or plus two/
equivalent with 3 yrs diploma in Hotel Management and Catering from a
recognized institute.
Knowledge of the national language and at lease one international language is
needed.
