Course/Training
Professional training in social work usually involves pursuit of a postgraduate
programme leading to a Masters in Social Work (MSW) or M.A in Social Work which
is offered in more than30 universities in the country. Such courses are two year
duration and include a certain amount of field work instruction which helps
equip the social work students for their on-the-job experiences after
qualifying.
