Veterinary Science deals with the medical and surgical treatment of animals .
Depending on the nature of appointment veterinarians deal with small or big
animals in rural or in urban settings They maybe attached to government
departments as in the animal husbandry department or they may be with dairy or
poultry farms. They could be in private practice or teaching in veterinary
colleges.
Course/Training
Training in veterinary science may commence immediately after completion of plus
two or equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology. Selection may be based on
academic merit or on performance in entrance examinations conducted by the
respective colleges. All India Common Entrance Examination is conducted by
